The best way to do this is to soak the stained clothing in a distilled vinegar cup. Separate your laundry, so there’s less chance of your clothes being dyed incorrectly in the first place. Please test a small quantity of the clothing first to ensure the vinegar will not damage it. Here are some methods that I’ve found work well for getting rid of that pesky color run stains on your white clothes. If it’s too late for prevention, here’s the cure. The company do a great job with ensuring the cleaners keep cleaning to the required standard and do random spot checks. Honestly the best cleaning service I have ever come across and we are sorry to have to stop using them, but sadly they do not cover our area which we have moved to. Heat can set stains and make figuring out how to remove colour run from clothes much harder, so never tumble dry stained clothes. Instead, act fast to treat the dye stain with your colour run remover or home remedy and wash again.
Remove the source of the problem! If you can see the source of the issue, remove it immediately, so that it doesn’t cause any more problems.
